Rock Climbing

Whether you are an experienced rock climber or new to the sport, we have a climbing itinerary to fit the bill. From wild mountain cliffs to secluded coastal bays, our base in North Wales is quite literally surrounded by endless crags and buttresses of the finest quality rock. All you need is some sturdy footwear, a good head for heights and a willingness to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and we’ll take care of the rest.

Have a browse through our choice of rock climbing options below and as always, if you stumble across something you like or if you would like a bit more information about any of our products, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

Rock Climbing Taster

This is by far our most popular rock climbing activity and is ideal for newcomers to the sport, or for parties wishing to spend more time actually climbing and less time learning about climbing techniques. We have access to an almost infinite number of different climbing venues here in North Wales and therefore are able to tailor a taster session for participants of all abilities.

Duration: 2-3 hours

Difficulty: Moderate

Min Participant: 2

Abseiling

For those out there who have never heard of abseiling before, it is basically up-side-down rock climbing. Dangling from a rope one lowers oneself down a cliff face rather than climbing up it. Abseiling is often coupled with rock climbing to make for a longer, multi-dimensional session, but can also be done in isolation.

Duration: 1-2 hours

Difficulty: Moderate

Min Participant: 2

Rock Climbing Basics

If you are the sort of person that likes to know the ins and outs of the activities you take part in, this is the product for you. With the help of one of our qualified climbing instructors, the aim of this session is to begin building the skill set required to become a safe and competent rock climber.

Duration: 4-5 hours

Difficulty: Moderate

Min Participant: 2

Advanced Climbing Skills

If you have already been on our Rock Climbing Basics course, or if you already have an understanding of basic climbing techniques including belaying, tying in and risk assessment, then this full-day session is the next logical step. From setting up simple rope systems to working on movement skills, the aim of this session is to get participants to the point where they can climb safely and competently without professional supervision.

Duration: 4-6 hours

Difficulty: Moderate

Min Participant: 2

* Prices quoted are based on the minimum number of participants taking part in an activity and represent the maximum cost per person. Larger bookings often benefit from a discounted price per person, please get in touch for more details.
