BEGINNERS ROCK CLIMBING COURSE

  • Duration: 6 – 8 hours
  • Difficulty: Easy/Moderate
  • Participants – Minimum 1 person. Maximum 6 people

Take your first steps on outdoor rock, with the safety and supervision of one of our expert instructors. Learn the basics of tying in, belaying and abseiling, as well as having plenty of opportunity to practice movement skills on real Welsh rock.

Guided scrambles can be tailored to groups of most ages and abilities. Minimum age – 8 years old.

Although designed for complete beginners, prior experience of indoor climbing will certainly help. If you have never put a harness on before, you can try a half day Rock Climbing Taster session before committing to a full day course.

10:00am – Meet your instructor

6 hours of introductory rock climbing tuition. Skills covered include various methods of tying in, belaying techniques, correct use and care of PPE and lots of climbing to practice movement skills and build confidence.

Lunch options are available

16:00pm – Depart

  • A private instructor 6-7 hours
  • All safety equipment including helemets, harnesses and climbing shoes if required.
  • Optional packed lunch

Although lunch is not included as standard, there are 2 packed lunch options available at an extra cost.
